Robert Nakama is an amatuer photographer from Honolulu, Hawaii. He has been shooting for about six years. He learned photography through various photography blogs and websites with a lot of trial and error applying what he’s learned. His photos have been featured in the 2010 Contemporary Photography Show, Phone Camera Photos Show 2010, 2012, 2013, and the Canon Amateur Photo Contest 2013.
The subjects of his photography are often of landscapes and of his travels. He has ability to discern beauty in the everyday repetition and capture the allure in the mundane. With his photography he wants to capture the beauty of the world that he sees and to share it with others. He never leaves home without a camera weather it is his iPhone 5s, Fuji X-E2, or a Canon 5D Mark II
